At Gateway Community Church we believe that there are no accidents. There is a reason that you have come to this page and are looking at it now.
You, or someone you love, may be stuck in a habit that you can’t break, struggling to make life work, or having difficulty with relationships. No matter how hard you try or pray, shame, guilt, anger, frustration and grief are just a few of the emotions that don't seem to change.
Good News!
No matter what your hurts, habits, or hang-ups there is hope! In small groups of men or women, where confidentiality is key and honesty in encouraged, healing can begin. At Celebrate Recovery you will find many who are dealing with struggles similar to your own.
The Foundation
The foundation of our recovery is Jesus Christ, the one and only higher power. Through fellowship and sharing, we learn to apply the Beatitudes and the Christcentered 12-steps to our lives. As we turn our will and our lives over to Christ's care, destructive behaviors, including addictions, compulsions and dysfunctions, lose their grip and we experience freedom. Through this freedom we undergo spiritual growth and healthy, God-honoring changes which result in a stronger personal relationship with God and others. This new life allows us to enjoy peace and serenity, trusting that God is guiding our life and our recovery.
Everyone in CR has been there. We understand your feelings and can relate to the apprehension you may have at walking through that door for the first time. Take a step of faith, and God and others will meet you there!
An Evening of Fellowship
Join us this Tuesday night for welcoming fellowship, lively worship, inspirational teaching and honest testimonies that will strengthen and support you on the road to recovery!
Afterward, please stay and enjoy Jehovah Java, our coffeehouse.
