Sports Ministry

Purpose

The Sports Ministry team is focused on cultivating friendships with other believers outside of the Sunday morning setting. The teams range each year from non-competitive to competitive but everyone's main goal is to have fun and give glory to God. It is something remarkable to have two teams huddled together at the end of a game praying for each other.

Opportunities

Gateway has a Spring Softball team entered at Loudoun county every year. The season runs from April to July and anyone above age 16 is welcome to participate. In the past, we have had a softball teams and basketball teams as well. If you would like to participate in the Spring Softball league or have an idea for a new sport, please contact Kevin Toczko.
