Missions Team

Purpose:

Our Team’s purpose is to carry out the great commission (Matt 28:19), to be God’s witnesses (Acts 1:8) in our neighborhoods, Northern Virginia (NOVA), and around the world and to teach people how to “fish” (Matt 4:19).

Our goals are to conduct out-reach ministries and missionary activities that will evangelize, spread the Gospel, provide services and financial support, first in our neighborhoods, then in NOVA, and finally around the world.

Plan of evangelism:

  1. Preach the word through personal contacts, Small Groups, and mission’s activities.
  2. Love one another as demonstrated by personal and intimate caring and support of each other.
  3. Live a Holy life as demonstrated by increased capacity for love, faith, knowledge of God, accountability, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Opportunities:

If you have a heart to reach out to others to share the gospel, we need your prayers and involvement. There are several possible areas where you may be able to serve:

  • Local missions trips sponsored by church organizations.
  • Prison Fellowship ministries.
  • Short-term overseas missions trips.
  • Small Group directed missions related activities.
  • Crisis pregnancy.
