Small Groups Fall 2012

This fall we are doing something different for small groups. We are  setting aside a time to pour into our small group leaders; we hope this time will offer both training and encouragement. Those of us who are small group members will experience the benefit of this investment beginning January 2013 when we will relaunch our groups.

We have set up what we are calling 3 Super Huddles: one in the Ashburn Area, one in the Herndon and surrounding area, and one in the South Riding and Stone Ridge area. So that small group leaders can fully participate in the Super Huddles, we are encouraging them to take a rest from leading their current groups this Fall. This doesn’t mean that those groups can’t meet—your group will discuss options for meeting in the fall, but we are asking the leader(s) to make the Super Huddle time a priority from September through  December. Our hope is that with this time we will all remember what God has done and is continuing to do in our lives. The Super Huddles will run beginning 9/9 and end 12/2 with a huge small group kick-off in January 2013. Please keep the leadership in prayer as we move into this initiative and you’ll receive updates along the way! Thanks!
