What is the church made of? What is the base ingredient?

The base ingredient is authentic Christian Community.
What does Christian Community do?
Christian Community connects people to God and people to people.
How to step into Christian Community
- We've got to GET RIGHT!
- Get right with God and get right with people.
- Get into Home Fellowship
- Make the necessary confession
- We've got to BE REAL!
- Get real in your Home Fellowship
- Get real in your confession
- Release!
- We've got to release the resources God has invested in us toward the work God is doing through us.
God doesn't need our ability. He needs our availability.
Small Group Study
Icebreaker: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Worship: Read Isaiah 46 and talk about how we are to view God.
- Matthew 22:34-40 (our personal job)
- Matthew 28:16-20 (our job as a community)
- Acts 2:42-47 (what it looks like when the community does it?s job)
- Do you agree with the vision of Gateway to promote authentic Christian community? (Connecting people to God and people to People)
- Do you agree with the vision enough to change the way you spend your time, your energy and your money? Why or why not?
- How have you seen the vision fulfilled at Gateway?
- What does it mean to be in a right relationship with God?
- What does it mean to be real with your community?
- How do you feel we are doing as a Home fellowship fulfilling the vision? Explain
