Sermon Highlights
- The consequences of not obeying God are very grave. It is all about obedience.
- The more effective you are about making a relationship about the other person, the more effective that relationship will be.
- Know God is not a set of practices, but it is a relationship. For God, it is about us. He gives and gives and gives. For us, it needs to be about God.
- When we're in active disobedience, God won't speak to us. When we're not ready for obedience, God will be slow to speak.
- 1 Samuel 15: the cost and severity of disobedience... God told Saul to completely destroy the Amalekites, but Saul spared the king and the best of their sheep and cattle instead of destroying them. So, God rejected Saul as the king of Israel.
