We take our toys very seriously and the toy industry knows it.

"It" doesn't satisfy

Why do we still pursue "It?"

1. At a superficial level, because of advertising.
2. At a deeper level, because we really do believe that "It" can satisfy us.

Why does "It" not satisfy?

Matthew 6:19-21
¹⁹ "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. ²⁰ But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. ²¹ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

1. "It" is impermanent
2. "It" is fragile
3. We were made for more that "It"
   Ecclesiastes 3:11
   He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
4. "It" leads to a dead end

"It" isn't satisfying but Jesus is.

How do we find our satisfaction in Jesus?

1. Start by admitting
2. Move to repentance
