Gateway's Mission Statement
We exist to be used by God to draw others into authentic Christian community.

Bernard's four aspects or stages of loving God
- Loving yourself
- Loving God for your own sake
- Loving God for his sake
- Loving yourself for God's sake
...authentic Christian community.
Christ and His Community is:
- The cause we rally around.
- The life force that animates us.
- Real.

Like Spiritual Jazz...
- Jesus built a small group.
- Jesus gave us a "new" command: love one another.
- His last command: go into the world and make disciples.
